Watch
for these ribbon worms around barnacles, in mussel beds, and around
Fucus holdfasts. They are white or pale pink, have the
typical non-segmented, rubber band like appearance of other ribbon
worms, and grow up to 12 inches long. There are actually two species
in this genus that look very similar, requiring a microscope for
identification to the species level. They're predators and eat amphipods
and other tiny organisms.
